Mosque Lamp

Mosque Lamp
Egypt, Mamluk Period
Brownish colorless glass, blown, tooled, enameled and gilded; applied foot-ring and loops for suspension, about 1349-55
Toledo Museum of Art

A quickie for today, I admittedly did nothing yesterday when I got home from Maine and have much work to do here at work. A piece from the Toledo Museum of Art's collection. Enjoy!

More to come this week, once I get back into the swing of things (amazing how just a long weekend can throw you off).
