Marilyn Minter's paintings are incredible to see in person. Appearing at first like a striking photograph, closer inspection proves the viewer wrong as they realize it is a painting. Minter also works here themes into photographs and one would be hard pressed on any initial glances to tell the difference between the 2. Her themes dig deep into the depths of the dark side of glamour and fashion.
